We offer NLP Program accreditation to NLP Trainer and NLP Training Centers that exhibit both rigorous content and high ethical business and marketing practices.

As an International NLP Association Approved Training Center you will receive the following benefits:

  • Training center accreditation number
  • Use of the INA Badge on website and certificates
  • Inclusion in our Approved Training Center Directory
  • Your students will receive:
    • Fast-Tracked INA credential process
    • Waived training verification fee

If you would like your training center to be accredited by INA and included as an INA approved training center, your trainings will need to meet the following general requirements:

  • All trainers delivering training content must be current INA credentialed members
  • All sales and marketing materials and practices must meet INA ethical standards
  • All certification trainings must includes live instruction (in-person or live video)
  • All certification trainings must require a skills demonstration(s) for certification

During the application process you will be required to submit:

  • Course outline and access to course material sample
  • Website sales page and marketing sample
  • Description of course delivery and hours
  • All participating trainer’s levels and credentials
  • Signed INA Institutional Code of Ethics Agreement

Additional requirements for each credential level are listed below.


NLP Practitioner Training Approval

A Practitioner level certification must, at a minimum, include:

  • Definition of NLP
  • Rapport building with non-verbal communication
  • VAK model with eye accessing cues
  • Basic kinesthetic anchoring
  • Introduction to submodalities, with at least one full technique
  • Decision and motivation strategies
  • Meta-model 
  • Milton model
  • Outcome specification
  • Meaning reframing
  • Six-step reframing
  • Include a minimum of 80 hours instruction (not including practice hours) at least 10 of which must be live instruction (in-person or live video)
  • Students must be assessed throughout (via tests, reports, or live demonstrations)

NLP Master Training Approval

  • 80 hours of advanced NLP coursework, content may vary based on training institute, at least 10 hours must be live instruction (in-person or live video)
  • Students must be assessed throughout (via tests, reports, or live demonstrations)
  • Center must also be approved for NLP Practitioner Training

NLP Coach Training Approval

  • Must includes applicable NLP models/techniques
  • Must include coaching core-competencies:
    • Ethics
    • Coach-Client relationships
    • Coaching Agreement
    • Client Accountability
    • Coaching model
  • 20-hours of live instruction (in-person or live video)
  • Students must be assessed throughout (via tests, reports, or live demonstrations)
  • Coaching Practice opportunity
  • Marketing and business plan assistance
  • Center must also be approved for NLP Practitioner and NLP Master Trainings

NLP Trainer Training Approval

At a minimum, the course must include these topics:

  • Definition of NLP
  • Rapport building with non-verbal communication
  • VAK model with eye accessing cues
  • Basic kinesthetic anchoring
  • Introduction to submodalities, with at least one full technique
  • Decision and motivation strategies
  • Meta-model 
  • Milton model
  • Outcome specification

Training requirements:

  • 24-hours of live instruction (in-person or live video)
  • Students must be assessed (via live demonstrations)
  • Training materials for trainers to use with students
  • Marketing and business plan assistance
  • Center must also be approved for NLP Practitioner and NLP Master Trainings
